
Using fluid acrylics and YUPO, students explore a variety of techniques to achieve brilliant stained glass effects. These techniques lend them selves to both realistic and abstract subject matter. Instructor Carol Frye was listed by "Watercolor Magic" magazine as one of the top 26 Water media Artists of 2006, and in 2007 they included her in the article "One's to Watch".

Erika Greenberg Schneider lived and worked in France for 20 years, becoming a Master Printer in Intaglio and Lithography for Atelier Franck Bordas, and then Director and Master Printer of the Gallery Maeght print studios in Paris and St. Paul. She also served as a consultant and faculty member to the City of Paris for their experimental art school based on Thierry De Duve's philosophy "Faire Ecole." Motivated by her desire to share knowledge across disciplines, she has taught regularly at the university level. Upon returning to the United States in 1998, she was Master Printer of Intaglio at USF/Graphicstudio and a Visiting Professor in Drawing and Printmaking at USF Tampa. She is currently a Visiting Professor in the Graphic Design Program at USF St. Petersburg.
